Meet nicholas bell aka The DogPa
When I began to train my own dogs, my friends and family took notice of the relationship I built with them. Long before I became a professional dog trainer, I offered my services to people for free. We all deserve to have a relationship with our dogs that brings us joy, but I know how sometimes our dogs can end up becoming a source of stress. I help clients build a relationship with their dogs so that they come home every day to a dog who relieves their stress and that's the promise I will continue to deliver on again and again.
In 2014, I got my rescue dog Kima, a Siberian Husky who was found wandering the streets of Lincoln. She was a true escape artist who tested us often. Kima challenged me as an owner when she began to randomly attack and severely bite our oldest dog Tod, a Pomeranian mix. I knew that I owed it to her, myself, and especially Tod, to learn all the different techniques of dog training so we could enjoy our best lives together. Not only did I overcome that hurdle, I went on to train Kima to be my service animal.
Now, I take pride in helping clients with their aggressive dogs and have dedicated myself to continually learning everything I can about dogs and dog behavior so that I can pass that knowledge along to dog owners. My mantra in life and in dog training is to always run towards your obstacles. Call today to enroll your doggo!
Read Tug’s Story
We can’t recommend The DogPa enough! He helped us overcome challenges with our rescue dog that seemed impossible. You can truly see the passion he has for helping dogs and their owners succeed. Thanks to his hard work and genuine compassion, our dogs behaviors have improved tremendously and we are now more knowledgeable dog owners.
Our journey with rescuing Tug was especially hard because we had to adjust our expectations for how quickly he would get comfortable. It took him longer than we thought it would to adjust to our home and we had to learn to meet him where he was. It was helpful to learn from Nicholas that it was best for us to treat Tug like the dog he is, and not put expectations on him based on his breed. Now he's so much happier and more comfortable in our lives and we couldn’t have gotten there without training. Thanks DogPa!
